The exact price in your local currency appears on the in-app paywall and on Apple's confirmation sheet before you confirm any purchase. Prices in non-US storefronts are set by Apple's price-tier system and may differ from the USD figure above.
Nothing, for features. All paid plans unlock the same Pro feature set: full lifetime map, Coverage dashboard, Ghost Lap mode, and unlimited Year in Review exports. The differences are purely about how you prefer to pay.
Monthly is the lowest commitment. Annual is the cheapest if you know you want it. Lifetime is for people who'd rather own the app than rent it.
Most apps lock features behind subscriptions because they need recurring revenue to keep their growth charts pretty. MoveMap is built by one person with no investors - the math doesn't require recurring billing. If you want to pay once and never think about it again, that should be an option.
The Lifetime unlock is a one-time, non-consumable In-App Purchase processed by Apple. It works just like buying a song - it's tied to your Apple ID and restorable on any device you sign into. There's no expiration, no renewal, and nothing to cancel.
Yes. Monthly subscribers can move to Annual (Apple handles the credit/proration). Anyone on a subscription can buy Lifetime at any time. After buying Lifetime, you should cancel your existing subscription manually in iOS Settings > Subscriptions - the app will remind you in a one-shot prompt right after the Lifetime purchase completes.
You go back to the free tier - last 12 months of routes are still visible and your data stays in Apple Health (MoveMap never deleted it). Re-subscribe or buy Lifetime and your full history reappears instantly.
No. Currently the Lifetime purchase is tied to your individual Apple ID and is not Family Shareable. We may enable family sharing in a future update.
If Apple ever requires non-consumable purchases to support Family Sharing, or makes any rule change that affects Lifetime, your purchase stays valid. New Lifetime purchases would follow whatever the new rules are. Existing Lifetime purchases are grandfathered.
Apple handles refunds for App Store purchases. To request one, go to reportaproblem.apple.com and select the purchase. Apple decides on each refund individually.
Open MoveMap on the new device (signed into the same Apple ID), open the paywall, and tap "Restore" at the bottom. Your subscription or Lifetime unlock will be detected within a few seconds.
